We are so grateful for the opportunity to help and heal children, teens, young adults, and families. Each person who walks through our door is a part of our community, our family.

It truly takes a village.

We love to hear feedback as it helps us grow!

Here are some words from a few members of our family:

  • I recently attended Dr, Kristy’s soulful sit. It was a unique and wonderful experience for me. I wasn’t sure what to expect but the class was exceptional! Really made me think and gave me some insight and a new perspective , opened my eyes, heart and soul and filled me with positive vibes. I highly recommend and look forward to more classes!  --B.S.

  • "Coach Kristy I just wanted to let you know that I'm really going to miss you and the girls when I leave to study abroad. This group has meant everything to me. I was such a different person when I first started. Like a really different person--so scared and unsure and feeling worthless. I cried all the time. I hated myself. I hated school. I hated my parents. I can't believe who I am today. I'm confident and accepting and love myself and found ways to love my life. And live my life, I can't believe I'm going to another country to study!! This group taught me so much about my inner gifts, my heart, my spirit, so many parts that I didn't know existed. You were so right--it was there all along I just didn't know it. Thank you for helping me find it. I hope one day I will help someone find their powers too just like you've done for me. You've inspired me to try. Thank you Coach Kristy for everything and all you do." --A.P.

  • I recently went to Kristy's Soulful Sits group. I'd never been to anything like it (there probably is nothing like it!), but I will definitely be going again. Kristy is so dynamic. She brings her abundant knowledge of spiritual traditions and her academic background to the table in such an engaging way. She also facilitates with care, compassion and humor. I was amazed that she actually extended the workshop to double the allotted time just because she wanted to field all of our questions about her parenting strategies around particularly challenging issues. If you have any interest in her groups, just go! You won't regret it! -M.C.

  • Recently attended Dr. Kristy’s Soulful Sits workshop in Ridgefield. Dr.Kristy led a beautiful ceremony. It has been quite a number of years since I have attended a workshop like this, being new to the area, getting back into the grove since having my first child. Dr Kristy is passionate, compassionate, kind, gentle and graceful. I highly recommend her workshop and I look forward to attending another very soon. She went above and beyond w her workshop and also answering mindful parenting questions at the end, which is what also drew me to her.

  • "Mindful Parenting for the Everyday Parent was the best spent money on my parenting education. Parenting was just a part of it though What Dr. Kristy teaches can be applied to improve practically every area of life: relationships, career, self-development. After these few weeks I feel more aware and happy. I've received tools to be more in control of what's happening in my life and how to enjoy it a little bit more! Thanks so much Dr. Kristy!"--L.S.

  • "I feel stronger and more confident. I know what to do when I have trouble concentrating at school. I feel better about myself. I actually am learning to love myself. I can't believe it, really!"--M.Z.

  • "I can't say enough good things about Dr. Kristy Vanacore. She is a wealth of knowledge, understanding, and positivity. She is able to relate to children in a amazing way. Her warmth, patience and practical strategies really help children to make huge strides!" --A.B.

  • "Dr Vanacore really sees potential in children and is all about helping them find a way to boost self confidence and letting kids feel successful. She goes above and beyond to help her clients."--J.M

  • "A wonderful holistic child psychologist that is always looking for the best solutions for the children and families she works with so that they can succeed at life!"--M.B.

  • "Learning about gratitude and appreciating the little things was huge for me. Like, stopping to see beauty all around us. I never did that before. Kinda makes stressing out about some little things seem like a waste of my time."--S.A.
